Can you backup your Facebook photos?

Imagine you wake up tomorrow and Facebook is gone. POOF! It’s just… gone.

You may miss seeing posts from friends and family, but what about your photos?!?! How many years of your precious memories would be erased? 

Most people have a large collection of personal photos stored and displayed on their Facebook pages. If Facebook was suddenly gone, those photos would disappear as well. Are there photos on your Facebook that aren’t saved anywhere else?

We began researching how (and if) Facebook files could be downloaded. It can be done, and we want to share the process with you! 

We created a click-by-click guide to walk you through backing up your Facebook photos using a computer or your phone. It’s available now on the v2 Digital Store.

This guide is designed to be simple. Facebook backups are a bit of a lengthy process, but the screenshots and instructions will navigate you through capturing and saving your posted photos with ease. For $29, you will receive guides to save your photos to your computer and to Google Drive using your computer or phone (separate instructions for each).
