You may wonder, "why should I hire someone to manage my social media when I can just do it myself?". We're here to give four reasons why you may want to reconsider.
ONE. It’s 2024 - It’s necessary for a business to be on social media. Having a page set up isn't good enough either. You need to be posting consistently. POSTING CONTENT is the most time consuming process of social media. Rather than spending hours to create graphics, write captions and worry about how to communicate your message, a Social Media Manager (SMM) has the skillset to do it for you. TWO. Social media has amazing tools to track and analyze your data on social platforms. However, it can be boring, confusing and difficult to interpret. A social media manager can MEASURE AND TRACK ANALYTICS for you to ensure the numbers are working in your favor. THREE. Having a presence on social media isn’t enough. RESPONDING TO CUSTOMERS is necessary. How a business handles communications will be seen by current and future customers. A SMM can help manage and monitor comments and communicate effectively. FOUR. We’ve all heard about algorithms and trends. Knowing what they are is a different story. A business needs to stay ahead of the curve and that can be hard. SMM can eliminate that headache for you as they follow the industry closely and study the platforms consistently. Which of the four listed are the most difficult for you? We’d be happy to talk one-on-one about any of the four listed above. Send us a message!

I never thought I’d be a business owner. It never crossed my mind until a cold January day in 2019 when I received a call from a local jewelry designer asking if I could assist with her marketing efforts. It’s safe to say we were both nervous about how this would go! She had been in the jewelry biz for years, and what do I know about diamonds?
Within the first few months, I began handling the social media for a school, an auto dealer, a craft vendor and a meat processor. Plus, I had several freelance graphics clients. Maybe I could actually turn this into a business! Fast forward to March 2021. I absolutely HATED invoicing and was hesitant to bring on new clients for fear of being overwhelmed. Then, one phone call changed everything. My sister-in-law said,”I’m interested in what you’re doing.” Over the next few months, we talked several times and Rhonda decided to join v2 in June. It was a total leap of faith! I mean, working with family? Is that really a good idea? Rhonda was (and is!) exactly what v2 needed. She’s knowledgeable, personable and driven. Plus, she doesn’t mind handling the billing! With Rhonda’s help, v2 has grown to be larger than I ever thought possible. I can’t thank her enough for building this company with me. v2 has helped market eye care, real estate, surgical services, a book, county celebrations, a trampoline park, chiropractic care, a car wash, roofing, golf, a movie theater and so much more. On the graphics side, we’ve created billboards, business cards, stickers, posters, brochures and more. Some of our clients are several states away - and we’ve never met them in person! I’d like to thank v2’s clients for making this possible. Thank you for putting your confidence in us to post on your socials or create designs for your business. To my friends and family, thanks for liking and sharing the v2 Graphics & Marketing posts. Thanks for telling Rhonda and I you’re proud of us. Your encouragement and support means more than you will ever know! On a personal note, I want to thank my husband. Jess kept our financial boat afloat and was so supportive and patient while v2 was just beginning. I can’t acknowledge him enough for the huge role he played. In honor of v2’s fifth anniversary, Rhonda and I decided to give away something very special from the client who started it all. At the end of January, we will be giving away a stunning pair of diamond and gold earrings from The Jewelers Vault in York, NE. Be sure to enter on our social media! ~Valerie |
